Asset Integrity
Fitness-For-Service (FFS) assesments are a quantitative engineering evaluation that are performed to demonstrate the structural integrity of an in-service component that may contain a flaw or damage. We can carry out the necessary assessments to assist the plant operator in making a run-repair-replace decision and help to determine if pressurised equipment which contain flaws that have been identified by inspection can continue to operate safely for a period of time.
Our engineers have experience in carrying out such assessments and providing reliable recommendations on the future design life of plant, equipment and piping systems.
Once the necessary inspection techniques have been carried out we can process the information and proceed with calculations which will then be transferred into a comprehensive but easy to read report providing predictions and recommendations of the future of the plant.
